FGU is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of one
representative from each of the member utilities. The Board
of Directors has the responsibility for approval of FGU's budget,
adoption of bylaws, establishment of policies and the selection
of officers and Executive Committee members. A seven-member
Executive Committee provides ongoing policy direction of the
agency and general guidance to the General Manager. The General
Manager is the chief executive officer of FGU and has responsibility
for the day-to-day operation and management of FGU. The Executive
Committee is made up of two directors representing municipal
gas distributors, two directors representing municipal electric
power generators and one at-large director from an electric
power generator or gas distributor, plus the Chair and Vice-Chair
of the Board of Directors.
